I'm not exactly sure how I found this course, but "Natural Light Portraiture and Retouching" by Dani Diamond from PROEDU is one of the best tutorials I have ever purchased. I became interested in this course because, when I started photography, my only equipment was my camera and lens. This course delivers on its promise—there's no need for lights, modifiers, gear, or tripods. Just go out and shoot. With Dani Diamond's retouching style, you can achieve top-class images.
Dani begins his tutorial by discussing his gear choice, particularly why he prefers the 85mm lens. He then demonstrates his camera settings to capture his stunning images, all conducted outdoors during an actual shoot.
Later, he goes on to conduct seven live photoshoots in various locations to demonstrate his techniques. Afterward, he shows that he can still capture enchanting images indoors.
Subsequently, Photographer Rob Grimm conducts a full 37-minute interview with Dani Diamond about his journey in photography.
After that, he provides comprehensive Adobe Photoshop retouching tutorials that are easy to follow from start to finish. He also includes RAW files from his photoshoots for you to practice with.
He taught me that you don't need a studio or impressive equipment to achieve great results. You can create exceptional outcomes almost anywhere, for the world is your studio.
The tutorial is highly recommended for photographers interested in capturing unique natural light shots to enhance their portfolios.
