I am still determining how I came across this course, but Natural Light Portraiture and Retouching by Dani Diamond from PROEDU is one of the best tutorials I have ever purchased. I got interested in this course because I owned no photography equipment except my camera and lens when I started photography. This course is precisely what it is advertised as—no need for lights, modifiers, gear, or tripods. Just go out and shoot. With Dani Diamond's retouching style, you can get top-class images.
Dani starts his tutorial on his gear choice and why he chooses the 85mm lens. Then he further demonstrates his camera settings for obtaining his magical images. All of that is done outdoors during an actual shoot.
Later, he goes on to shoot seven live photoshoots in different places to show you how he does it. Afterward, he shows you that he can still get magical images indoors.
Subsequently, Photographer Rob Grimm does a full 37 minutes interview with Dani Diamond on his journey in photography.
After that, he does full Adobe Photoshop retouchings from start to finish that are easy to follow. He included RAW files of his photoshoots so you can follow along for practice.
He taught me that you don't need a studio or fascinating equipment to get great results. You can achieve great results almost anywhere, for the world is your studio.
The tutorial is highly recommended for photographers interested in natural light photography to create something unique for their portfolios.
