I always thought that black-and-white photography required bright and overexposed images, particularly when capturing skin tones. However, I've discovered that's not the case. By reducing the exposure, I was able to achieve a beautiful gradient of grey in Shomokh's skin tone.
I have consistently observed that professional photographers effectively utilize highlights and shadows in their black-and-white images to enhance the overall depth of the composition. In this particular shoot, I endeavored to achieve a similar effect.
