Agent 47 is a genetically engineered assassin. I never played the videogame, but I loved Timothy Olyphant's portrayal of the character in the 2007 movie. With my friend, Ali AlKhayat, I wanted to create something similar to the movie's poster but much darker and more contrasty. His suit and tie were not the colors I wanted, so I had to change the colours digitally via Adobe Photoshop to get a monochromatic look of red and black. I envisioned a spotlight behind his face to attract the viewer's attention. I did not have colour gels for the spotlight, so I changed it digitally.
