My First Trial to Beauty Photoshoot

I had the exciting opportunity to participate in a beauty photoshoot that marked my first collaboration with a professional makeup artist. Teaming up with makeup artist Nouf Al-Essa and model Klaudia Ashkanani, we brought a vision to life that was breathtaking in its simplicity. Nouf’s concept centered around a natural makeup look, highlighting Klaudia’s features with soft, glowing hues and a delicate nude shimmer that captured the light beautifully.
I initially planned to hire a professional high-end retoucher to improve my photos and achieve a polished final product. Instead, I decided to learn high-end retouching, using lessons from Adobe Photoshop educator Marcin Mikus on Udemy. I didn’t realize how much time it would take. As I worked through the process, I found an overwhelming number of details to address—each image had complexities I had not expected.
